CMI: OUR FOUNDER

Steve Karges is the Founder and President of Children’s Ministries International, Inc. (CMI), which he started in 1980. CMI is based in San Diego, California, USA.

Steve is a graduate of Palomar College in 1979 and was ordained into the Christian Ministry in 1980. For over 31 years he has been leading CMI. Steve has organized, directed, or assisted at 108 Kids’ Retreats across the United States and in the Philippines. He has ministered in Australia, England, Haiti, India, Jordan, Lebannon, Philippines, Russia, and Singapore.

Steve is also the Coordinator of Global 4/14 Day on April 14. This Annual event, which begins in 2012, is an international day of prayer and fasting for children in the 4/14 Window. For more information, visit www.Global414Day.com.

Steve and Janette have been married for 28 years. Janette is CMI’s Vice-President. The Karges’ have two children, Stephanie 25 and Kevin 18, and the family is active in their local church.
